Our gauges and meters are suitable for inspection of a variety of coatings, surfaces and materials – not just paint! Although our website name includes the word paint, our customers also use our instruments in a range of capacities that do not involve paint inspection.
Paint is a commonly inspected coating
While paint is a very common coating that coating thickness gauges and gloss meters are used for, it is far from the only one. Many products, both consumer and industrial, receive a paint coating – for both aesthetic and protection purposes.
